POP Documentation : POX ----------------- --- POX is a markup language conforming to the XML specification which is used to describe the structure of persistent classes in the POP system. POX stands for Persistent Object (XML|eXoskeleton). Each POX file is a valid XML document describing the structure of one persistent class. Typically, a system will consist of many POX files, known collectively as POXen. TAGS: COMMENT is the top-level (root) tag [ abbr = 'clss' ] Abbreviation for database table names [ isa = 'Foo::Bar' ] Superclass, fully-qualified [ type = 'link' ] Only if this is a link (relationship) class [ abstract = '1' ]> Only if this is an abstract base class Only if hash, type of value (Either 'type' or 'hash', 'key_type' & 'val_type' must be specified) Any data in the POX is interpreted as comments, describing whatever tag the data is contained within. VALID TYPES Currently supported types are: int, numeric(w,p), char(w), varchar(w), bit, Foo::Bar where Foo::Bar is an embedded object of class "Foo::Bar"
