WindowsXPにインストールしたperl, v5.8.7で、「タ」の置換を行いたいのですが、
なぜかできません。その他の文字はできます。

ソースですが、

$before = "タ";
$after  = "た";
$line =~ s/$before/$after/;
print $line;

です。

ソースは、Char::SJISで書いてます。
