The contrib directory in this distribution includes various tools that are useful. Currently, this includes: contrib/blmanager.cgi A very simple CGI script that allows for the manipulation of DNSBLs through a web interface. It is intended as the basis for your very own and does not excercise all the features of DNS::BL. You must edit it before testing. contrib/import This script is expected to be useful to import existing dnsbl data into your new DNS::BL based dnsbl. At our installation, we used it to migrate the existing BL data in djdnsbld format. contrib/spamtrap This script is meant to be used in a procmail recipe attending to spamtraps. After some minor configuration, it should be able to process messages passed by procmail and figure out the SMTP client that delivered the spam. This script can archive the spam, produce the commands required to add new rules to two DNS::BL dnsbls and update an index. See its documentation for specific information about its inner workings and functions. contrib/check This script checks the integrity of the indexes, to look for the development of branches with no leaves. This is being used for the analysis of wether to implement full tree cleanup.
