After unpacking: ***** perl Makefile.PL make make test make install ***** ***** NOTE ***** NOTE ***** NOTE ***** The "juke" variable $wait in the subroutine customize() defines an anonymous subroutine that ensures media is ready after it has been loaded into a DTE. It's value can be either $wait1 (Linux) or $wait2 (IRIX). The basic idea is to status the drive until it is ready. IFF you experience tape-not-ready errors, you must inspect this code and make appropriate changes. The code comments tell you what to do. Please, send any changes to sol0@lehigh.edu. ***** ***** Installation complete. ***** OK, juke/tkjuke installation and configuration is complete. Have the appropriate amount of fun.
