X11 Scaling Fonts

Portable Presenter has a few fontsets, which are used to show text on the slides. Fontsets are not optimally implemented (yet). The best implemented fonts are these scalable X11 fonts.

To find out which scalable fonts are available on your system, you can use xlsfonts '*-0-0-0-0-*' This module requires module X11::Protocol, available from CPAN.

You can only use these fonts writing left-to-write. Help is required to teach the formatter to handle other directions.

X11 Scalable Fonts Options

-fixedFont => string
Name of the font to be used for the teletype characters.

In most cases, this is a courier font. You can specify `foundry-family' (for instance `adobe-courier'), or only `foundry (`adobe'). If you specify a scalable font which is not available then the module will choose one for you.

-proportionalFont => string
Name of the font to be used for the normal, proportional characters: normal running text. Usage as with the above flag.
